The client for the shopkeeper to send orders to the laboratory
PIXSY-Shop is the program to install on a Shop's PC with which the Retailer creates the orders for his Consumers, in a simple and fast way, for any type of Photo-product, to then send them to the external Laboratory for fulfillment.
It allows flexibility and great operating speed in the preparation, composition, layout and transmission of orders to the Laboratory.
One program only for ordering everything
With the use of one program only, the Retailer can order any type of photo-product for his consumers: prints of all sizes, posters, collages, books, calendars, postcards, photo-gifts and much more.
Customization of the application
PIXSY-Shop can be customized with the Photo-Laboratory logo, with a start-up window showing the details and information of the Lab, as well as with a name and icon of the Laboratory itself.
Products set
The program is configured with the products, formats, sizes and resolutions specified by the Photo-Laboratory.
Automatic updating
Any time the program is activated on the Retailer's PC, it connects to the central Server to check for any updates of software, prices or new products.
And if there are updates available, they are instantly downloaded and installed.
Image retouching
PIXSY-Shop includes a function for manual correction and retouching of images, before sending them to the Photo-Laboratory.
Notes for production
At the end of the order creation, the Retailer can add notes and instructions for the production, as well as details of the Consumer which will then be used to identify the order at collect time.
Order transmission
At order confirmation, images are scaled down to the resolution corresponding to the printing DPI of the Photo-Laboratory.
This implies that the images to send are much "lighter" and the transmissions times are significantly shorter.
Deferred transmission of orders
The orders, rather than being transmitted at the time they are acquired from Consumers, can be sent at any time later, when there are no other customers to serve.
Order status notifications
Information about the status of the order, from the moment of acceptance, then during production, and finally upon delivery, are notified to the Retailer via e-mail.
Format “Ready to Print”
Every single product ordered with PIXSY-Shop, be it a single print or a complex product with multiple images, is delivered as ready to be printed. No manipulation is necessary for printing at Laboratory side.
