March 2024
A local specialist Silk flower and card store wanted to increase footfall and so we were excited to offer our pbox kiosk ordering station on a revenue share basis adding instant print and a small range of photo gifts to their store.
From this initial photo offering it became evident to the owners that photo really worked, they love the fact that they had no outlay and just needed to give the products some store and window space.
After a successful first year and a bumper Christmas they requested if there were more photo-gifts that could be added and for the possibility of a kiosk with a touch screen to make it easier for customers to order from.
We looked at the revenue share numbers for the previous year and were convinced that with the addition of more gifts and some more space for display this would work well giving the store and ourselves a good return.
We also wondered if they would be open to adding Photo ID service as this could be a BIG game changer for them and us as they are located very near a post office and ID, in its many forms: Passports, Drivers licences, Visas and bus passes to name just a few, are always in high demand.
With our touch screen kiosk the process is simple for producing the various ID's and after a quick discussion with the store owners they were very keen to add the new ID service and advertise it.
Again with the new revenue share model, where we provide everything needed including a professional SLR camera, passport picture cutter and specialised ID wallets along with the touch screen kiosk.
They only have to insure the equipment and look after it while they are using it.
To launch the service we decided to fund and offer all customers 2 free prints for the opening week and already we have seen new customers drawn into the store and using the new Touch screen Photo-kiosk.
The store expects sales to grow quickly as the word gets out and are very happy at how easy the kiosk is to use and especially for the addition of Photo ID's .
